In this blog post I describe my teaching philosophy (in Spanish):

Any level, any age

If you want to learn Spanish in Madrid with an experienced teacher from Spain, this may be your choice. I teach private lessons of Spanish to students of any level and age in my appartment in Madrid (with free espresso coffee!). I can design a lesson schedule for you or you can choose the number of classes that you would like to take. Please let me know about your needs and I will adapt to them.

Language teaching philosophy

My lesson plans have always a communicative approach and the grammar input is always present as reinforcement. I plan my lessons in a fun way, but not improvising or letting language concepts without an explanation. My goal with the students is to make them know how and why a tense is used, or a preposition, or a pronoun. Doing without this approaching would definitely bring us to a point of “remind and repeat” learning and that’s not my goal as a teacher. I don’t like an exclusive grammar point of view, or focusing in big and heavy language books, but this doesn’t mean that grammar shouldn’t be taught or well explained. Finding balance is a virtue.
