This Fall I will teach several Spanish courses through Minneapolis Community Education at Southwest Highschool, plus an extra Spanish Cuisine class!
This is the title and description of all my courses:
Spanish Grammar 1
(8 Mondays: Oct 5–Nov 23, 6:00-7:30 pm. $52)
It doesn’t sound exciting, but don’t panic! Grammar is not about memorizing boring rules and regulations—it is rather pure logic! Learn the logics of the language depending on what you want to say (and how, to whom, where, when and why) in real communication situations. Learn to talk about the present, past and future in the proper way; to talk with concordance; to choose between úser and úestar; to change from formal to informal language; and to read/write basic, well-connected and structured texts. This course is for you if you would like to improve your Spanish.
Spanish Grammar 2
(8 Mondays: Oct 5–Nov 23, 7:30-9:00 p.m $52)
This is a continuation of our Spanish Grammar 1 class or for students who already have a foundation in basic Spanish grammar. You will learn to deal with the past tenses, internalize the logics of subjunctive and the diff erent uses of “úser” and “úestar”, choose the proper pronouns depending on their functions, and learn to read/ write complex, well connected and structured texts. This course is for you if you would like to improve and go deep with your Spanish.
